    Can't Download Xbox 360 Profile to Xbox One


    Today, I tried to play an Xbox 360 game downloaded to my Xbox One, only to find that my Xbox 360 profile has been deleted. I tried to redownload it, it gets through downloading my profile, then starts downloading the game info, freezes, then says "there is an issue with your credentials. go to account.live.com to fix it. Error 80072741". And that's all it does. I tried playing a different game, same outcome. I cleared the Xbox 360 cache, I cleared my system cache, I deleted and reinstalled my Xbox One profile, I tried logging out and signing in on the Xbox 360 game, and NOTHING! The best I got was my Xbox 360 profile sometimes appearing, only to be told it "didn't finish downloading. try again." And sometimes, it would say my account signed into Xbox Live, only for no account to be present when I tried to sign in again. I've run out of things to try and I have no idea what to do. I am 100% locked out of my Xbox 360 games, downloaded or on disc. Somebody help before I give up on the Xbox series for good.

    Just go to download profile on your 360 or One but I think there is an issue with Xbox live right now because when I tried downloading mine on the 360, I get an error message saying Xbox Live profiles can't be downloaded right now even though the Xbox Live
    service status says everything is up and running.

    Unfortunately, no, you can't transfer add-on content between profiles.

    support.xbox.com/.../download-content

    The best you can do is one of the following -

    - Make sure your profile is signed into Xbox Live whenever your son wants to use the add-on content

    - Download you profile to your son's Xbox 360 and and do a license transfer

    This means that an error occurred during the download.
