Can't download xbox 360 games with gold

This question has been asked and closed before but not solved. the Xbox 360 games with gold will not download for many people. For me personally, it is not due to region, it is not because there is no payment info on file. I have two valid payment methods
listed and just added a new one just in case. But when I try to download the free 360 game on Xbox one it always says "sorry. we had trouble downloading some details. Please try again later." If I try sending it to the console from online it will usually
just reload the page. Sometimes it will process the request and say "unable to retrieve payment information" or "no payment options available, click here to update payment options". If you click the link to update payment information it says "looks like you
found a glitch" and the page is not available. But going directly to the payment information and updating it does nothing anyway. Even getting out my old 360 and trying to get the game on it did not work. It said "unable to retrieve payment information." This
has been going on for a couple months and is cheating us out of what we paid for. There is also no way to contact anyone directly as all the questions even remotely related to this say "This question is not available for calls or chats" But a quick google
search finds lots of people having the same problem. I can still download Xbox one games with gold. I can still purchase and download new games. It is just an error with the 360 games with gold that needs to be fixed on Xbox's side. But f anyone knows of a
work around or fix, I'd love to hear it.
