    Can't download update


    For about a month now my xbox has had troubles doing pretty much anything xbox live related. When I turn the on the xbox, I get the error code: 80072ee2, and then when I try to update any game, I get the error code: "Can't download the update. To test your
    connection, open System Settings and select Network Settings, Test Xbox Live Connection. Status Code: 4174 0000 d080 0200 8007 2746." I have tried to clear the system cache three times then restart the console, but that has done nothing. I have done this multiple
    times, and it didn't change anything. When I do test my connection, it says everything is fine. Every other device in my house works on the internet just fine, but for some reason, during the last month my xbox has not connected well at all. Ethernet isn't
    an option, just gonna throw that out there.

    I'm trying to download an update to xbox. Have tried wired and wireless, neither seems to work.

    Here's my info:

    Network Connection Type: Wireless/Wired

    First, welcome to the Xbox community. Given the problem you are having, I suggest you try the solution provided in the topic below.

    - If none of the above solutions solve the problem, make sure your windows are updated to the latest version, whether windows 10 or 11, follow the instructions below.

    Select the Start button and then go to Settings > Update and Security > Windows Update.

    - If there are no updates to be made, I suggest you try the alternatives below.

    Solution 1:

    Open RegEdit as an administrator and delete the following Services:

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServices]

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\GamingServicesNet]

    PC reboot

    Install gaming service like you would normally

    Solution 2:

    Go to Windows settings

    Applications

    Applications and Features

    Look for Gaming Services

    Click on it

    Advanced options

    Tap repair

    - If it doesn't work, try the alternative below.

    Download the Create Windows 10 installation media application from the link below, at the end of the download run the application, and then follow the instructions given by the program at the end click on upgrade. Rest assured none of your files will be lost, this is a system restore that will try to fix this error.
