Can't Download Two Games With Gold

I first tried to download Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (the new one) from Games With Gold when it was free a couple of weeks ago. It would get to around 12% and then give me a pop-up message saying "Can't Download Lara Croft" without giving me any more information.

It now does the same with BioShock Infinite, the new free game, again at around 12%. I have 50GB of free space on my HDD so that is not an issue. I've already missed one game because of this. BioShock runs out tomorrow - I don't want to miss that too!

I´m in Mexico, my account región is Mexico, and console región is Mexico, I can't download Army of TWO on games with gold

 

Does your account region match your physical location?

 

Please check if there aer any corrupt or incomplete files present in the (Games) storage section.

If there are please delete those before trying to download the game(s) again.

Also try downloading a demo, to see if that will download.

There were 3 and I deleted them, however my Xbox has for some reason cut off from the internet (which is working fine) and says I need a Wireless Networking Adapter to be plugged into my Xbox. I'll try to get this fixed and then try to download them again.

 

Hi JRicochet, the good thing is since you have already started the downloads of these games, then they will always be available to you from your download history at no cost to you, and you will be able to redownload them at any time. On the subject of the
wireless adapter, it sounds like the internal one (if you have the model S or E Xbox) is faulty, as the xbox is asking you to connect an adapter, you may have to send it in for repair, or for the time being try connecting your Xbox to the internet with a wire
instead.

 

I have connected an ethernet cable to my Xbox so I can at least try to download them now. After deleting the three partial downloads I tried again to download BioShock, however it once again stopped at 12%. I was able to download the Forza Horizon 2 Demo
(1.44GB) fine.

 

OK, let's try a few things that may help get these downloads working. Try clearing the cache, instructions are here on how to do it

support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache, then once again remove any partial or corrupt downloads from your storage (games, dlc, and anything else that may have a corrupt icon next to it). Then refresh your internet equipment (Turn them off for 30 seconds
then switch back on). I would also turn the xbox 360 off for 30 seconds too, then turn the internet on 1st, wait until it's fully booted up and then turn the xbox on and try downloading the games again, but with only the xbox connected to the internet.

 

I would add trying to delete the Marketplace cache if non of the above works
