"Can't download Tropico 4"

Hello,

I purchased Tropico 4 back when it was on sale about a month ago. I have been struggling to get it to download onto my Xbox 360. So far, I have tried the follow:

Delete the corrupted file, clear the HD cache, restart xbox, reinstall from download history (I have tried this probably ~20 times)

Delete the corrupted file, clear the HD cache, delete the Media cache, restart xbox, reinstall from download history (only done once as my media cache never repopulated after that)

Delete the corrupted file, clear the HD cache, delete my profile, restart xbox, redownload profile, clear HD cache again, restart xbox, attempt download from download history again.

It appears that the download fails at approximately 70% each time (although I am often not watching it at the exact moment that it fails). It never hangs, it just seems to be going ahead fine and then suddenly I will get the error. I have tried downloading
with the xbox off, I have tried downloading with it on in the background, I have tried it on while moving the controller every few moments to make sure the active downloads screen is at the top (wasted a couple of hours), nothing seems to help.

I currently have a wired connection directly through my router/modem. I also purchased Tropico 3, and the Modern Times DLC at the same time and downloaded them no problem. I honestly haven't made any purchases since then and am hesitant to do so as I'm afraid
they will just be a waste if the same thing happens.

Please do not refer me to the prefab guide for this problem, I have tried everything listed there (and more) and walked through all of those suggestions diligently with the same outcome each time.

Any other suggestions?

tropico 4 download 80% Stops!

i can´t download more then 80% of tropico 4????

it says can´t download tropico 4 then it hit 80%

 

Whos Choosing The Backwards Compatiable Games

I don't think we get Tropico 4 because we have Tropico 5 and it's multiplayer.

please try to stop any downloads and deleting any partial and or corrupt files from the console, after that clear the cache 3x and then fully restart the console, when it's powered off be sure to wait at least 60 seconds and remove power completely for another
60 seconds, then reconnect and power on again.

Clear cache one more time and then try to download something else (one or more items) that will be more then the storage size needed by tropico 4. It may be demos etc, as long as it in total is larger then the game.

This will result in overwriting any parts currently on the HD. After that try to download the game itself again.
