Can't download store content

In the ten years or so that I've been using it (since the days of Halo 2), I've never had any problems downloading stuff over xbox live, but I've tried to download Dishonored several times now and it just won't download. I leave it to download overnight
while I'm sleeping and in the morning the it's no longer in my download queue but it's also nowhere to be found on my hard drive. When I go to the store again it has the option to download again when, if it's already on the hard drive, it should give me the
option to "Play Now."

I thought I would try and download some other content and see what happens, so I tried AirMech Arena and within a couple of minutes, it said that it couldn't download it. I then tried the Forgotten Wars trial with the same result. It still downloads and
installs game updates just fine, it's just that it won't download games or DLC at all. I have an Xbox One as well and everything downloads just fine on it so it's just the 360.

This has only just started to happen in the last week or so and I'm pretty much over it at this point and it might be time to kill the 360 with fire and never look back. I really wanted to play Dishonored though.

Xbox one won't update games or anything

Xbox isn't updating any of my games so I can't play them online and I can't download games of the store as well as I can't download netflix I tried resetting my whole Xbox and deleting all the content don't know what's going on really upset

 

need for speed rivals

I have a xbox 360 slim 4gb. I have bought need for speed rivals but i can't download the content. My storage device can't store it.

What can i do to make it work?

 

I can now add The Walking Dead Season 2 to my "it won't download" list. After the game kept crashing, as it has been for a lot of people, I (stupidly) followed somebody's advice and deleted it and tried to download it again as this has fixed it for other
people.

It would be nice to get some actual support from the support forums. Even something as simple as "there's a problem with the marketplace, we'll keep you posted" or even "your xbox is stuffed, burn it and move on." Anything would be better than nothing at
this point.

 

I don't know about the other games but in system, make sure you have back round downloads ON. This insures it will download at night. If that doesn't work then try this. First in system, in auto-close, set it to close in 2-6 hours depending on your downloading
speed. Then download Dishonored and leave the xbox on. Then go watch tv or do something. Just don't close the xbox. It will continue to download until it is done and then you can play it!

 

That's exactly what I have been doing. Background downloads are always on for me and my download speeds are fine. I can download a game this size in two hours tops normally.

I decided to bite the bullet and clear my cache as well. Didn't help one bit. For the love of god, don't make me have to resort to using my PS3 just so I can play a game that I own.

 

Well, it's been a few days and nothing has improved so I guess it's time to get rid of the 360 and move on. No point having it if it's not going to work properly.
