Can't Download Sniper Elite v2

When I attempt to download Sniper Elite v2 after adding it to my account via games with gold, it goes to my active downloads for 10 seconds or so and then it disappears and a popup reads "Can't download Sniper Elite v2". It never gets to 1% downloaded and
it doesn't appear in my games list or my storage. Help would be appreciated.

The game is Sniper Elite v2. Literally. Zombie Army was standalone DLC for Sniper Elite v2.

This issue has been going on for several weeks and is not related to themes or gamer pics so I don't believe the currently reported support alert is relevant to my particular situation.

 

I'm having the same issue, and from what I can tell elsewhere, it isn't an uncommon issue. I've also tried clearing the system cache, that doesn't seem to work either. About an hour or so later I got Tomb Raider for free as well, and that didn't have any
problem downloading at all.

 

Same here. No problem with Tomb Raider. Really fun game actually. I've seen a ton of similar issues on various forums but no actually steps to remedy the problem. It's nuts.

 

yeah, It's sad, cus I'm considering getting Sniper Elite 3 for xb1, but I want to play V2 first to see if I like that, especially since it was free.

 

This is something that is still happening to me. I've been trying to download this for over a month now.

 

I would just like to say this has also been happening with my friend and I as well, if anyone has found out how to fix the problem it would be appreciated as well. My friend has done the delete corrupt data thing a few times already and he still has no luck,
the furthest his download has gotten is to 60%.

 

try deleteing any games you don't play anymore. but keep the saved games. that will make more room on your hard drive. then try redownloading the game you were trying to get it can be found in your download history
