Cant download profile

Ive bought a second hand console from someone and tried to download my profile onto in but it says my password is incorrect tried making a whole new profile and even that one says incorrect password but i can sign in from computer on xbox.com i dont get
it.

Also my partner was able to download his onw but when i try to play online cod it signs back out and says that its not allowed his profile is brand new...

Deleting downloaded profile?

I decided to dust off my 360 and I downloaded my profile awhile ago. But if I delete it and not my actual profile. All of my saves and data will still be there, right? Because from what I read. The only point of downloading your profile, is if you want to log in to a different console.

Saves should be fine, proflie can be deleted and redownloaded.

Same thing happening to me. Except customer service had me delete my profile now I can't download it back. Same code.
