Can't download profile on 360,but xbox works.

So this is whats going on.

i can log in on the xbox 1,but i can't download my profile on the 360,(had to go buy a new one as my disk reader quit.)

was wondering if there was any reason the xbox 1 i can log in with the right pass word but on the 360 when i go to download my profile and enter the pass it says its wrong.

Can't download profile on 360, Profile works on Xbox One

I am trying to play a backwards compatible game on my Xbox 360. When I try to download my profile I get a message saying the password is incorrect. There is no error code (just a message that pops up). I have reset my password using 2 step verification and
have full access to my profile on the Xbox One but still cannot access it on the backward compatible game/Xbox 360 side of things. I talked with an ambassador online, but the best they could do was to recommend calling the support line in the morning. Hopefully
they will be able to resolve the issue.

Backwards compatibility question

You can login, make sure you are logged into a profile on your xbox one, then hit the back and start (view and menu) buttons in x360 mode... That brings up the option to sign into profiles and download profiles.

Even if you use another xbox 360 it should let you login to a xbox 360 profile and it should just say it was last signed in on another system. I'd make sure you are signed into a profile, if you are trying splitscreen stuff make sure your friend signs into his xbox one profile before then signing into his xbox 360 profile.

Awkward, but it works. Been busting up borderlands splitscreen in bc for a couple days.

Same problem tried to download two profiles to play split screen both wont download
cleared 360 cache deleted all profiles

now cant play any BC titles as its deleted my main 360 profile that was working

All i get is "xbox live profile can't be downloaded right now" error 80090304

I believe that deleting and redownloading your profile will help with this, but you'll want to copy your profile to a USB stick, just in case you can't connect to download it. If that doesn't work, you'll want to post in the Connecting to Xbox Live on Xbox

DUS SOULWOUND

Having the same issue, can't download my profile on both the Xbox 360 AND Games For Windows Live (PC).

Both have been working well without issue recently.

Is there any option to refresh my profile at microsofts end?

My profile is already on my Xbox One and signs into Xbox 360 titles without a problem - so this is an unusual issue.

I have tried ALL troubleshooting steps possible multiple times and nothing works.

That's exactly what I'm dealing with as well, but if i use a different profile, that for some reason seems to work (even though I still just want to use my own profile)
