Can't download profile in xbox 360 emulator

I can download 360 games to my Xbox one just fine. But when it starts it says downloading data from xbox 360 profile and the bar just remains empty. After about 20 seconds the game launches and when it gets to the main menu it says I must sign in to play.
I pull up the 360 menu and attempt to download my 360 profile but it says it can't connect to xbox live and directs me to network connections on my xbox one which my network is fine. Been trying to figure it out all day and nothing. Anyone have a similar problem
and know of any fixes? Really want to play gears 2 and 3 before 4 launches next week. Thanks

Alright. Can you try to re-download your profile to the Xbox 360 emulator? Again, press the Menu and View buttons at the same time and scroll down to Download Profile.

 

[SOLVED]"Can't connect to Xbox Live" from inside of backwards compatible 360 game on xbox one

I tried disabling 2fa and setting my password to 15 characters. When I rebooted my xbox one, i had to re-sign in and starting another 360 game (Mirror's Edge) re-fetched something in the emulator.

That being said, I'm still getting the "can't connect" error if I try to download my profile inside the emulator.

I dug out my old 360 and it could sign into Xbox Live when 2fa was enabled.

 

I'm having the same exact problem. Searched for YouTube videos that would solve the problem but none of them work. I'm trying to play Cod: WaW.

 

I go to it working finally. I have a moderate NAT type due to my firewell so I did port forwarding on my Xbox one to get my NAT to open. I guess though if you do that it blocks the 360 emulator from contacting Xbox live services. I deleted the ports I forwarded
from my router and it worked right after that.

 

I have 2 xbox ones and can play and log into xbox live on the 360 side of things just fine, so it' not a router setting. However, if I try to log into my most used xbox gamertag and play gears 2 on the other xbox one, it tells me that it cannot log into
xbox live and to download the gamertag again...I have done this a number of times and still no log into live on the 360 emulated side...I can log into xbox live on my xbox one no problem though.

Hey there SeaDrive,

Let's have you try to clear the local 360 storage on the console and see if that helps.

1. Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.
   1. Note Double-tapping the Xbox button will open the guide from any other screen on the console.
      
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All settings.
4. Select System and then select Storage.
5. Select Clear local Xbox 360 storage.
6. Select Yes and restart the console. This will not affect your cloud saved games or Xbox One games and profiles.
