Can't download profile - Error: 8015B00E

8015B00E is definitely a security issue.

Workaround of deleting profile and re-downloading is good until you turn your unit off, then must repeat delete and re-download of profile EACH & EVERY time you attempt a sign-in.

Until this is fixed be prepared, and hope your "high-speed" internet connection holds to MS Live standards, any interruption at all will make you re-start this whole process.

MS - this is a goofy and stupid problem here, try better please!

p.s. - this has not affected my son's Gold account in which he does not have any of the "security" queries and has not required a manual input of his password as of yet, so definitely a security issue here.

are xbox currently working to resolve the 8015B00E error code?

 

Shoop P Homer's method was effective for me, but now when I try to get rip of the two-step-security requirement via my

Xbox 360 Settings > Account > Account Security >
Security Proofs

I get the Error Code 8015B00E again, any suggestions of how to get rip of the 2-step two-step-security requirement?

 

I have done this before and it works grand, however when i attempted the same method, the error accord, so this seems like it would only work once, I so hope that this will be fixed soon

Looks like a common problem today... only happened to one account on my console though. The other one connected to Live just fine.

Tried Shoop's fix, with no luck, but after reading the rest of the posts, I went in and checked the Remember Password box during the sign in process, got the error, restarted the console, and signed in with no problems at all...

Not the ideal fix because it bypasses your password but hopefully it's only temporary.

 

Did not work for me ..none of this

1) Settings > System > Storage > Hard Drive > Games & Apps

2) Look for apps with excalamation marks and delete them.

3) To clear the system cache:

Settings > System > Storage > Highlight Hard Drive > Press Y on the controller > Select YES to clear system cache. Do this 5x.

4) Restart console.

5)Once it comes back on, try to download your profile:

Social > Sign In > scroll all the way to the right > Download Profile

or Download Profile is on window when you press "home button"

Should be good to go once you download your profile.

any other suggestions? is this related to the latest system update...this is irritating

and yes all my security proofs and billing are up to date so it is not that either

 

i got it in a Completly diffrent way. just tried to log on i didn't try to re-download or anything. but i got the same code. i'll try all the diffrent Suggestions.

 

Its all *** why is this happening I'm going back to ps3

 

its because someone hacks u over internet (happens with ps3's too) and they download games u don't have or will be able to download because u either don't have the CD or the money for it. and that the file wont be able to download therefore it will block
the login intil its gone.

After deleting my profile, I get the same error re-downloading it and now I no longer have my account on Xbox. Well good thing I invested in a Wii U. I heard the new Mario Kart is fun.

 

it is kinda annoying knowing that I have to do this method from now on until this gets fixed, even though it works now after carefully doing the method, it's now getting annoying and also frustrating to know that it'll take a long while until they have a
patch for this

 

If you checkmark the "Remember Password" box during the login process, this problem will go away. The drawback is that now your password is saved and there's no security... but it looks like for now its the only way to defeat this bug permanently until MS
gets it figured out.

The problem seems to be an issue with the security protocols involved when logging in with your password.
