Cant download profile error 80151103

ok so I have searched through many posts about this problem but none of them were recent or helped me out any. The problem started when I tried to log in today and my xbox asked for added security. After failing to log in despite knowing my correct password
and everything I started to trouble shoot. After many failed solutions I resorted to deleting and reinstalling my profile to find that it will not let me, stating something like "you cannot download a profile right now error 80151103." I have tried deleting
and reinstalling the xbox update, deleting cache 3 times with a reboot, I updated my proofs. Im about out of ideas here.

Well there's no profile to delete anymore (that was done in step 5 above), and the download profile action fails after login with Error 80151103 cant download Live profile. It still seems like there's some kind of account problem.

 

I have the same exact error code as you do right now. Nnothing works because I belive xbox live has been attacked by a group of hackers

Sorry about all the trouble you went though! I believe the problem may be on the Xbox side though. Xbox Live has been experiencing some widespread downtime the past few hours. We've had many people report errors with attempting to download their profiles
during this downtime. I'd suggest trying this again in a few hours once everything is back up and running normally!

I know waiting is annoying, but hopefully this will solve your issue! Keep us updated!

 

I was able to download it to a USB so I guess I can troubleshoot it from here. Sorry for the wasted post.

 

Thanks for the quick reply guys but as I just posted installing to a USB seemed to do the trick. If you have a USB feel free to try. Not sure if my hard drive is bad or what but im on and playing now.

 

Sorry that I keep posting to my own comment but I just wanted everyone to know that I have I have reinstalled my profile back to my HDD and everything is working fine again. I believe Skunkboy74 was right about it being on Xbox live side. I recommend just
turning off your console for a bit and trying later as it will probably solve it self. Please nobody panic like I did. It will all be ok.
