''Can't Download'' on demand tittles

this keeps happening since like December and it's the 2nd time im posting here.

i already know it's not my speed, or my region, or my cache, or any of the other solutions...cuz my only one is keep the system on till it ends

and even sometimes this error apears just after the ''download stoped for (insert game)'' and then secs later the ''can't download'' one apears.

i STILL insist is an issue from the marketplace on all the on demand titles after the ''lizard incident''

even worst, how can i trust to buy an xbox one this year with this issue from like 4 months ago on 360?

please this need a solution, ''a real one''...and no, a solution is not ''a refund'' i want to play games, not my money back.

I just got it from the on demand and it says can't download mabe some one should tell xbox

 

I have issues with the "can´t download" messages too. Specially with two games: Halo Reach and since sunday Tomb Raider. I thougt it was happening only with me, since i´ve got a new HDD that i think is not MS official.

 

Same problem here.

My solution is basically to delete game, reinstall, and not use my xbox while its installing. If I play a game in the middle of installing it won't download it. My issue is that most games I buy I do not need immediately, its more for later.

 

I have not been able to download sniper elite v2 or tomb raider just the same and now sniper elite is off the marketplace.. reading up on multiple other threads and issues from other concerned xbox players i see that nothing has been done, only that "the
problem will fix itself" or my favorite so far "the problem is already fixed". thiss has been kinda ignored.. only because the vast majority isn't having issues. answers would be nice

 

MoonRevenant, you can still download SniperElite v2, simply go to account settings on xbox, download history, and download it again. But before you do make sure you delete the previous download off your harddrive, and don't play any games or turn your xbox
off while trying to download it.

 

I didn't fully specify my issue other than being unable to download lol I'm sorry, i didnt remember the redownload option in account info thx, i thought it didn't work for free monthly opportunities. And i did try Downloading them the way u said. i get
no code error or anything and the item shows up in the downloads section but stays at 0% ive tried everything i could think of and it started doing this ONLY to monthly free on demand games right after the end of witcher 2 (which was my last actual downloadable
free option)

 

Ok everyone before you pile on you need to orovide the following info if you want help

Account region

Actual region

Us bases dont count as us territories as they use foreign connections and would need to match

If those two do not match you need to make it match

Connection type

Dsl cable or satilitie or fibre or lte

If lte or fibre then lte you cant that is your issue you need consistent speed

Fibre needs specific setttings from your isp to get past their firewall

I have no problems downloading content however everyone situation is different

The above people may not have the same region settings or conneection so you cant say they have the same issuealso if theor speed is differnet that is also a different issue

If you want help you need to provide more info

Not i cant download and its not because of my region brcauae i can download other content

Not all content is region locked thats why sometimes yoy may not have issues but other times you dont

We cant help you if you dont provide more info

Noone in the world can read your mind to pull the troubleshooting info wr need to help you

Every situation is diferent if your account region and actual region doesnt match most of thr time it will cause the issue

I downloaded lots of content since christmas like resident evil snd games for gold so its not a server issue all the time maybe its a setting like region issue

Check whoismy ip from the website

If you are using a vpn tbat would be your issue

They dont worl no matter howmany youtube video you use

Foreign us bases use foreign connections so you need to use the host country not the us addaddress for region

Thete is alot of unknowns because you dont provide the info we need to help you

 

Marketplace warnings do appear but you will get a warning kn your console if that happened

But the marketplace has been up most of the time since the lizard attack

 

Also modem and router configurations and brand which is important

As some modems and routers have issues

Halo reach is a region locked game

Not by continent but by country

And everyone but the op please make your own thread so we can give you troubleshooting based on your own situationrathwr then using troubleshooting steps thst dont apply to you

 

Not related to the first message of this thread, but i purchased Red Dead Redemption yesterday, it was downloading and as soon as it hit 100% it said "Can't download". Tried deleting it, clearing system Cache and repeated, same issue. It says they are having
trouble downloading already purchased content since yesterday, so i'll wait for that to be resolved and try again today.

 

@ngocphi Nothing is different in my region/internet server/connection type/etc. Since december i´ve been facing issues with downloading content. Halo Reach was a gold free game here in Brasil and i can´t download it. I´ve had a lot of trouble to download
Witcher 2, Sniper 2 and Tomb Raider too (already made it, though). So i agree with the others, we users demand a solution or at least an answer.
