Can't download -name of dlc here-

To start this off, I recently bought a new copy of Castlevania: Lords of Shadows 2. I went to the marketplace to get all the DLC because I wanted to to get the most out of my experience. Well, I was able to purchase the following: "Revelations" , "Dark Dracula
Costume" , and "Relic Rune Pack".

However, when I tried to purchase the "Armored Dracula Costume" DLC, it gave me a message that said "Can't Download Armored Dracula Costume".

Upon first seeing that message, i thought that maybe I just need to reset my xbox. That didn't solve it.

After resetting 3 times, deleting the game content fully from my hard drive, and even going as far as downloading from my download history....nothing changed...I still got the same error message.

I finally took it upon myself to contact an Agent. I spoke with a gentleman named "Edwin" in the chat at the time. We went through several different steps after I told him my predicament. We reset my consoles wireless settings,
we did the ever famous patch deleter (where you press the upper bumpers in a certain series), and we even refreshed the system memory.

After asking Edwin if maybe downloading the DLC (Armored Dracula Costume), from the site would make a difference or not, he gave the ok for it. I used google chrome at the time, but when I went to download the DLC, I got
a really weird message that said I found a glitch page for the DLC I was trying to download.

Edwin then told me to use Internet Explorer.....internet explorer crashed google chrom and I lost connection with Edwin shortly after. (i hate internet explorer)

So I started up the chat thing again, but was then greeted by an Agent named "Ace". I told him of what had happened and we got all up to speed on the situation. Ace said that my problem was an "Isolated Incident", and then
told me that it would be resolved.

Long story short, Ace gave me a refund of $0.99 (excluding tax of course...) after we both came to the resolution that the "Armored Dracula Costume" DLC wouldn't work. (yay..)

I'd like to point out that something like this has NEVER happened to me before in the past until just recently.

I say that because just today when I went to re-download the stuff that I thought was ok....well...they gave the same error messege.

"Relic Rune Pack" - 'Can't Download Relic Rune Pack"

"Dark Dracula Costume" - 'Can't Download Dark Dracula Costume"

I was however able to download "Revelations" with no problem.

I guess what I'm hoping to achieve here by posting this long winded story, is a fix of this sudden glitch attack.

Why didn't the "Armored Dracula Costume" work?

Why are the other two DLC suddenly giving me the same problem when they were working perfectly fine not too long ago?

Can I get a refund on these two DLC as well? I don't really want to shell out money for something that isn't going to work in the end. ( I realize this isnt the place to ask that question)

Can anybody offer any help or insight as to whats going on?

Although I realize it probably was against there code to use a proxy, it still put me in a connection showing as US. So there goes the US+US+Korea issue.

In order for you to be able to get the BLACK OPS REGION LOCKED DOWNLOAD CONTENT is, since you have a US XBL account and a US version of the game, to go back to the US and download it.




REGION LOCKED CONTENT requires that you meet ALL of the criteria to download/access it. That criteria is:



XBL Account Region+Game Disc Region+Physical Live in Region=ALL must match



Currently you have: What you would need: OR:





US+US+Korea=Denied US+US+US=Access Korea+Korea+Korea=Access



Just an FYI, the use of a VPN or any other service that redirects the XBL service is against the XBL Terms of Service and could result in your account and/or console being banned from XBL permanently when you are caught.

 

I have the exact same problem. I spoke with xbox agent flor on 3 seperate occasions and went through hours of trouble shooting including port forwarding a license transfer, the whole nine yards with no success. I purchased the armored dracula outfit, the
dark dracula skin and the relics pack and all 3 went to 1% then back to 0% and finally the cannot download message. I was refunded for the items. I even contacted konami the producers of the dlc and they said that it wasn't an issue on their end that it is
the xbox market that is responsible for its distribution I tired downloading a free trailer for a different game to see if maybe it was my xbox but that downloaded no problem. If anyone has any info on this please help!!

 

I have the same issue with the Relic Rune pack. I tried the support but the only solution was the refund of the dlc. So, the problem on LoS 2 DLCs is still without solution.

Ok we néed to know 3things that are very important

Account country

Actual country

Speedtest résults

Type of connections

Amy errors

If you are béhind an vpn or on a foreign millitary basé then you must use your Actual country

Foreign bases usés foreign connection

 

Your Account région and Actual région must match

 

I was able to download it recently with no problems. I originally had trouble which is why I started this thread here forums.xbox.com/.../1768372.aspx

But now its downloading fine.

 

I bought the Armored Dracula costume today and unfortunately the problem persists. Bought the Revelations DLC too yet there was no trouble downloading that.

Spoke to a customer service rep. about it, went through the usual steps (clearing cache, etc) but nothing worked. Ended up with a refund and was told to give it another try after 24 hours.

Hopefully it'll get sorted out soon; I'm beginning to wonder if it's an error on Mercury Steam/Konami's part, as if the DLC is still locked for only those that have redeemable codes. That seems to make the most sense to me, though I have no idea how it works.
