Can't download my profile to my console.

I am attempting to download my profile to my console, however, every time I i log in and begin the download the bar will stop loading and i will get an error message that says "Sorry, Xbox Live profiles can't be downloaded right now. Try again later. 80090304"

I removed my profile from my console because i had issues downloading content from the marketplace so i followed the instructions found with the error code on the Xbox error code help.

I have tried everything i can think of from power cycling, clearing the cache 3 times, disabling and enabling two step verification, using an authentication app, restarting my router, and removing my hard drive then trying to download the profile to my USB
stick. So far i have had no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

Deleting downloaded profile?

I decided to dust off my 360 and I downloaded my profile awhile ago. But if I delete it and not my actual profile. All of my saves and data will still be there, right? Because from what I read. The only point of downloading your profile, is if you want to log in to a different console.

Error 80090304 occurs when you try to connect to Xbox Live

You see the following error when you try to connect to Xbox Live:

80090304

This may mean one of the following:

The billing information for your account needs to be updated.

The cache information on your Xbox console needs to be refreshed.

There is a problem with your connection to Xbox Live.

Solutions

Solution 1: Verify your Microsoft account security information

Sign in to your Microsoft account.

Note If you forgot your password or can’t sign in using your password, reset your password.

Click Edit security info.

Verify your security information. For example, make sure that your Phone number, Alternate email address, and Security question information is correct.

Verify the other information in your Microsoft account. Make sure the billing address for your Xbox Live account matches the billing address used by your credit card company. Also make sure that your Xbox Live account payment information, including capitalization,
matches the information that is used by your credit card company.

Sign out of your Microsoft account and then sign in again.

On your console, try to connect to Xbox Live.

Solution 2: Delete the profile from Xbox console, clear the system cache three times, then re-download the profile

To delete the profile that’s stored on your Xbox console:

Go to Settings and select System Settings.

Select Storage.

Select All Devices.

Select Profiles.

Select the gamertag that you want to delete.

Select Delete.

Select Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements.

Important Do not select Delete Profile and Items. This deletes the profile and the associated games and achievements.

To clear the system cache three times:

Press the Guide button on your controller.

Go to Settings and select System Settings.

Select Storage.

Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)

Select Clear System Cache.

When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.

Repeat steps 4 through 6 two more times so that you’ve cleared your system cache a total of three times in a row.

To download your Xbox Live profile, follow these steps:

Press the Guide button on your controller.

Select Download Profile.

Note If you don’t see the Download Profile option, it probably means you’re signed in to your profile. Press X to sign out.

Enter the Microsoft account that’s associated with your Xbox Live gamertag. If you don’t know your Microsoft account or password, see Find your Microsoft account or password.

Note If your account is an Xbox Live child account, you have to use the parent’s Microsoft account to download the profile.

Select the storage device for your profile (for example, Hard Drive).

Your profile will begin downloading.

After your profile downloads, restart the console and then try to connect to Xbox Live.

Solution 3: Troubleshoot your Xbox Live connection

If you are still experiencing the problem, troubleshoot your Xbox Live connection.

Yes, I have read that already. That is actually the article that got me to delete my profile in the first place. My connection is fine i have tested it numerous times the issue i am having is loading my profile back onto the console.

 

I'm having the exact same problem and deleted it for same reason. Did you happen to find a solution?

 

Yes, I had to do a factory reset on my router and clear my consoles cache. It might also help to search your consoles hard drive for any corrupted files.
