Can't download mirrors edge you from games with gold

I am trying to get mirrors edge from games with gold, but my xbox wont let me download it. When i get on the store page it says show price instead of get or purchase. When i select it, a thing pops up explaining backwards compatibility and that the game
is free. When i hit continue, a box popps up saying please make this purchase from your xbox console, but i am trying from the console. It does this with every xbox 360 game i try to download from gold, but the xbox one games work fine. I have also checked
the ready to install place and it's not in there. Thanks to anyone who can help!

But didn't you just say that you could download "games with gold" titles?

Mirrors edge and the MX vs ATV Reflex are both Xbox 360 Games with Gold titles. Mirrors edge the tail end of September and MX vs ATV Reflex the first one of October

RE6, Golden Axe, Mirrors Edge, The Elder Scrolls series (if you so choose...) - Likewise with the Fallout series

 

Usually the most common issues with downloading 360 games on the One is either you don't have a payment method on file (credit card or Paypal, Microsoft account balance won't work) or you're on a child account. If you're on a child account, the only way
to download the games is from a 360 console.

 

I have 2 payment methods on my account that both work, and my account isn't a child one, so that isn't the problem.

Keep in mind that if your age is under 18, your account would automatically be placed under a child account. If you're unsure of what your account is set as, I recommend reaching out to
