    Can't Download Minecraft Update


    I have just gotten my Xbox 360 updated after about a year, so I could play on Xbox Live. There was an error for installing the update, so I had it installed on a USB and plugged it into the Xbox. It installed successfully. When I went into Minecraft, it
    asked for me to update it. But when I tried to update it, it gave an error code just like when I was trying to update the console. Is there a way to download the Minecraft update to a USB from my computer, just like I did to update the console?

    New update question??

    I can't update my Minecraft Xbox and I just got it today. It downloads then once it's done it goes back to the download screen.

    hard drive problems...

    hello. i have recently encountered some serious issues. ever since i downloaded Minecraft on my xbox, my xbox has been running really slow. i tried cleaning up the hard drive (it still has over 80 gigs of free space) and it won't download updates. so first,
    there was the minecraft update, that i couldn't download, and therefore couldn't play minecraft on xbox live. then there was the new xbox live update that i can't download so now i just can't connect to live. it is either my hard drive or my actual xbox (i
    have one of the old refurbished elites).

    I'm having the same issue. I was just playing minecraft today. I saw the update and it wouldn't let me update so I uninstalled minecraft to see if it would install the update when I reinstalled the game and now can't download minecraft at all.

    I can't update my Minecraft Xbox and I just got it today. It downloads then once it's done it goes back to the download screen.

    after completing the license transfer did you re-download minecraft to update the licenses. Try deleting minecraft and downloading it again. That should hopefully update the licenses.

    If its minecraft you are talking about, try checking the host settings. Many people found they had changed after the last update. If you can't find your game, go to your download history and re-download it.

    On a secondary topic, I have seen a lot of people having problems with minecraft multi-player since the last update. Several people I messaged before I became an ambassador asking that they check the host settings, and most of the time this was the problem.
    It may be a good sticky to add to the minecraft forum.
