Can't download Minecraft Episode 2

So I recently got the Minecraft story mode game. Its a lot of fun and I enjoyed the first episode. Having noticed that the second episode came out I tried downloading it. I got the season pass disc but I am still forced into buying the second episode. Is
anyone else still being forced to buy it when they have the season pass edition?

Also when I try to download Fable 2 Episode 1, a notification comes up and says "can't download Fable II:" I was able to download all the over episodes just fine except episode 1.

I'm having the same problem with the "Minecraft Story Mode: Season Pass Disc". Actually, I had a helluva time just getting Episode 1 to load. When I first put the disc in my disc drive, there was no response from the disc when I hit the "A" button to start
the install, nothing happened, like my Xbox One didn't recognize there was even a disc in the drive. Tried it on a second Xbox One, same thing. Looked around the net to see if anyone was in a similar boat, but found nothing at the time. Was going to take
the disc back to the store to replace, but I tried one more thing... I set my console to auto-start the disc when loading it and, sure enough, Episode 1 loaded. So, my new problem, like "PurpleJesus2013", was when I used the in-game menu to download Episode
2. It took me straight to the Xbox Store and wanted me to pay for Episode 2. The Xbox Store did not recognize that I had the Season Pass (via the disc), nor that I should be able to download Episode 2 without paying. Very frustrating!

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with accessing Episode 2. When was the last time you tried download the content in-game? Are you still having trouble with this? Keep us in the loop so we can further look into this

 

Ive been trying for about the last three days. Im still brought to the Xbox marketplace and asked to pay the 5 dollars to buy the episode. I don't know of any other way to get it in game.

 

I am also still having the problem, I bought the disc, and today (October 30th) I am still prompted to pay the $5 when trying to download episode 2.

Are you trying to access the content from in-game or are you visiting the Store for it?

 

Problem: I bought the season pass (ep 1-5) and Episode 2 is not available in the game.

Hit the Play button or the episodes button and it says "Coming Soon". The date is 10/28. It is 11/6..

What is the problem? Is anyone on xBox One playing this?

To clarify, are you playing from a disc or are you playing a digital copy of the game? this particular thread is for the disc version of Minecraft Story Mode. If this is an issue with the digital content go ahead and create a new thread so we can best help

Has this issue been resolved as of yet?

I purchased the Season Disc for my son's Xmas gift.

Cannot download subsequent episodes at all.

Say, "Purchased, not downloaded", but there is not option to download.

 

I had the same problem. Here is what I did this morning.

Logged out all profiles except mine. I'm and adult and above the age restrictions. Relaunched the game from the start (you have to quit the game and restart it or it won't work). Then go to the episodes menu and I was able to download them at no charge.

I did what Bisbobble did. You have to sign into your tgt account, under the episode tab, and then you can download it.
