Cant download Minecraft: Bedrock off of the launcher

so recently i have gotten a new laptop and have transferred all necessary data to it from my old one. I had Minecraft: Bedrock on my last laptop but ever since the new launcher came out, i haven't been able to download Bedrock. I already have a copy of the game linked to my account so i don't have to buy it but when i go into the launcher and hit install, it says "acquiring license" and then "error." When i look into it further, it shows me a hyperlink that is paired with "there are too many devices paired with your account to download this game." When i click on the hyperlink it brings me to a page on the Microsoft website whare i have devices linked my account. The first time i opened it it said the max device amount you are allowed to have liked to your account is ten and i had 3. I unliked my previous laptop and a serial number which i assumed to be my old iPad. Now i have only this laptop paired to it and it still gives me that same message of "these too many devises paired to your account."

Please if you have had this happen to you and have figured it out, please let me know!

These steps can help you, give it a try.

Check for updates on Windows Update, update everything including optional/additional updates.

1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app

2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app in the Windows menu, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset. Do this with the launcher too.

3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.

4. Open the Microsoft Store app, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner>downloads updates>get updates and update everything.

5. Restart your PC, log in to both apps and see if that solves the problem.

Also, try deleting the redownload launcher from the Xbox app or from the Microsoft Store app on your Windows. You can also download the game directly from the Xbox app without having to download the launcher. Search for ''Minecraft For Windows'' and install.

I really appreciate the help but i have tried both methods and neither change the situation. I have terminated and reset all 3 of the applications and have tried redownloading the launcher from the Xbox app and from the Microsoft Store app on my laptop. I downloaded the game directly from the Xbox app without downloading the launcher and it still didn't work. On top of all this, i even tried with a different account and i still got the same error message saying there are to many devices linked to my account.

Try enabling Microsoft Store offline permissions on your PC, then restart your PC, clear your store cache and try downloading the game again.
Open the Store. You’ll be prompted to sign in if you haven’t already.
Select the Me icon (this is your profile picture).
Select Settings, and then under Offline Permissions, make sure that the toggle is set to On.

I would assume you are trying to download on a windows pc.

You will have to install the minecraft launcher first.

To play Minecraft: Java Edition, download and install the correct launcher for your operating system. Sign into the Launcher using your Microsoft account, and you will be able to run Java Edition.

To play Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, you will need a device running Windows 10 or 11 to download and install the newest version of the Launcher, within which you can launch and play Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Sign into the Launcher using your Microsoft account, and you will be able to run Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
