    HELP!

    you can buy m rated content if parental settings allow it

    you just can't download m rated demos and trailers till your gamertag turns 18

    Downloading add-ons: Family Settings.

    Secondary accounts on a family pack can't download M rated content regardless of the actual age.

    Can't download m rated content

    If you're on a child account you will not be able to access M rated demos or trailers no matter what your settings are. Since they're free, they're considered advertising and have different rules.

    M-rated content can be bought at 17, but I have to be 18 to have an Adult account on Xbox

    You can buy M rated content on the marketplace as long as your settings allow it. You just can't download free demos and trailers that are M rated or unrated because they are considered advertising and can't be downloaded by child accounts.

    The parental setting to allow your son to play M rated content do not allow him to download M rated content. It's the same as when your in a store. You can buy an M rated game for your son, but he can't buy it himself.



    You can purchase the content on your (adult) account, and he should have access to it from his account.

    it is because you have to be 18 in order to download any M rated content parental controls should allow you to download M rated games and ad on content but it will NOT allow you to download any videos or demos for M or RP (ratings pending) content unless
    the adult is over 18 and promoted to an adult account sorry.
