Can't download Halo Wars 2?

I had to reinstall windows 10 yesterday and I went to install Halo Wars 2 today but it says that Halo Wars 2 is no longer available. Does this mean I cant download the game anymore at all???

Halo Wars Definitive Edition Code

Hey, so I bought the Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition bundle which comes with Halo Wars Definitive Edition and I never got a download code for Halo Wars DE. In the Microsoft Store App it says I own Halo Wars Definitive Edition but can't download it. I just
finished chatting with support who told me to post here to get the code.

Xbox one backwards compatible Xbox live

Whenever I try to play halo wars on the Xbox one, it says that I need to download my account again. However, I didn't use an account that was on my old Xbox to play halo wars, so I can't download the account. What should i do?

I am having the same issue with the Colony update, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Halo Wars 2 due to the fact that it is corrupted. I cannot play the game due to this, I have cleared all caches and restarted the system. I have yet to find a solution
that will fix this problem, and it is still unable to install. Any other suggestions?

Sorry to hear it. Are you trying to get the reinstall from My Games & Apps>Ready to Install?

What happens when you try to install the game?

Was the game originally purchased under your account or via game sharing.

I actually found a solution; when I reset my Xbox One S through console info through system settings the first time I kept all of my games and apps and Halo Wars 2 still came back corrupt. I then went through and instead of keeping my games and apps; I removed
everything through resetting the console in console info and this allowed me to download the game and it was no longer corrupt. I put all of my other games and apps on an external hard drive so that I didn't need to reinstall everything else.
