Can't download Halo:Reach, download fails at 79%

What is the content you are trying to download? Halo Reach

What error code or message are you receiving? It's in russian but i think the closest translation is "Can't download", i tried it 5 times over a last week, always stops at 79%

What region is your account? Russia

What region do you physically live in? Kyiv, Ukraine

Halo: Reach demo download gets interrupted every time

I am having similar issue with downloading Halo: Reach Demo. After downloading 79% percent the message appears "Can't download Halo: Reach Demo" and download is terminated. If I restart it (by choosing "Download again") it seems to continue with the download
from 78% and at 79% it quits again.

I have tried to add it to the queue from web interface and from console, it has the same effect. I have also deleted the downloaded content on xbox and redownloaded from scratch and again got stuck at 79%.

Interesting point is that web (and xbox) shows that the demo has 1.74 GB and when I was deleting the local downloaded content (which was supposed to be 79% of the data) the xbox showed me 1.8 GB allocated on local hard drive.

So I wonder if there could be some mismatch between the data sizes and that is why it is always cut at the same place.

Cant Download "Case Zero"

I'm Facing the same Problem here when it reaches 79% there is message appears (Can't download DR2:Case Zero)......any help Please

Your issue is that the your account is not set up for the same region (country) that you physically live in. Some downloads cannot be completed because of the difference in IP.

There's no xbox services in ukraine so this is the only way, anyway i think that region restrictions should stop me from even starting a download, not dropping it in the middle.

Sorry, but onyx is correct. For some people they do just get a message that the game is not available in their region, but for others the download will just stop around 80% like yours. This game is region locked so your account region and your physical location
have to match in order to download it.

ok so ive created a new account and bought halo reach but now it fails in download. it appers in active download for about 1 minute and the gives this error after downloading 40kb "can´t download halo reach". i have 12gb free on hdd

Make sure there is enough room on the console to install the game. Consoles have less storage than a PC so some care to check the free space is important.

In my experience, when downloading some games to Xbox 360 the download will jump from 80 to 100%. Have you checked to see if it appears installed on the hard drive?
