Cant download halo: mcc update

So I decided today that I would have a go at halo. I put the disc in the console loaded the game up and got prompted to download an update. So far its got to about 47% but it keeps stopping and going to queued over and over.

I've also noticed that when I do a network test on my console I get around 4.00mbps to 5mbps with 230ish ms ping and around a 3% packet loss. I have done several test on my pc which show no problems with my net and have also reset my routre several times
but the same problem keeps occurring.

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I live in Canada and have been having the same issue. Been trying to download the Halo: MCC update, highest it's managed to get was 3%.

Could you please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down? Thanks.

Tried that... It didn't work. However, I did manage to download the update, finally! Then I decided to download my free Limbo game which started doing the same as halo. So I did another network test on my console to see what would happen... The results of
the test were, 7756ms ping with a 45% packet loss. Down and up speeds were fine though.

It seems that when I try to download something on my console the network spazzes out for some weird reason.

Confirmed that this is happening for the Halo 2 update of MCC with no possible workaround as of today, May 18th 2020. I cant even play the portions of MCC that ARE downloaded because it will not allow it. This is crazy. This is a service that is being
paid for. It's not just through the Xbox Beta program, it occurs directly in the MS Store. This needs a fix like yesterday. Stop closing threads when they're still pertinent.

I'm having the same issue! I can't start Master Chief Collection after the Halo 2 update. I uninstalled MCC and now I can't even reinstall MCC! other games seem to be fine starting the download but none of the Halo games work anymore.
