cant download games from microsoft store to my D:/ drive.

So here's the thing, you need to create enough space on the C drive that can accommodate the game before installing it on the D drive. I know it doesn't make sense but I'm afraid that's how it works.

Thanks for the reply. When I go to download a game from the Microsoft store it asks me to select a drive. I do and it says installing for about 30 seconds to a minute and then nothing happens. I did this with two games. Trying to download them from both the Xbox app and the Microsoft store, There's nothing wrong with my laptop because I can download games from steam perfectly fine. In the settings games are set to download in my D drive which has plenty of space. Also saving things like pictures also works perfectly fine.

All of my Microsoft and Xbox games are downloaded on my external drive including the previous Horizon, which is Forza Horizon 4. I changed where new apps are stored when downloaded from the Microsoft store to my external drive but it still wont download Forza Horizon 5 to my external drive. On the Xbox app it wont show my external drive as an option to download to. I am able to download any game from the Microsoft store and Xbox app to my external drive except Forza Horizon 5.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums! Can I ask what format you have your secondary drive set to? Did you use NTFS or exFAT?
