    Can't download game


    I just recently purchased GTA IV and tried to download it but it says that it can't. I went through all the steps from deleting the game and clearing my cache to deleting my profile and re-downloading it. Any suggestions?

    Can't Download game?!

    Also, after deleting the content and before clearing the system cache, you might want to clear the marketplace cache under System Items (marketplace data and rights database).

    Try simplifying the setup if possible and wire into the modem (not really applicable if using a wireless modem/gateway).

    Can't Download game?!

    I bought Soul Caliber 4 off the marketplace and i've been letting it download for about an hour or so.. 4.28GB is a fair ammount but it should've budged atleast abit to maybe 2% already. The download cancelled itself once or something like that once already
    (I left it downloading, turned off my TV and went to get something to eat then came back and it wasnt on the active downloads) I restart the download and 20 minutes later it says "Can't Download Soul Caliber 4" WHY CANT IT DOWNLOAD?!

    Do you get any particular error code or error message?

    What happens, does it fail at 0% or always at some other percentage?

    Another question: does your physical location match your account region? If not, that could explain the problems.

    I think the problem lies within the Games on Demand section. There are tons of games that just will not download. Not because of profile or console region differences, not because of internet ports or connection problems, but because Xbox doesn't have the
    updated versions of these games and makes you download the newest update once the game is downloaded. But since Xbox is ever-changing It's services, they never work on the already uploaded games, which is sorta why I believe some of these games just won't
    download.

    How much space do you have left on your console? Maybe you're running out of space on the 360 and the download never finishes? I believe you need 8GB of space free for the Xbox 360 to run, so if you're running low on space, I suggest deleting some content
    and see if that works.

    Otherwise I can't say for sure what the problem may be.

    Hey Michael, although you're missing most of your sentence I'll see if I can help:

    First of all, make sure there is enough space on your hard drive to download the game in question and that your internet is running and connected to your xbox.

    Secondly, make sure you have the games purchased or accessible. A good way to check is to look into your account billing history.

    Thirdly, if the others are not the issue, try power cycling your xbox by holding the power button down until it turns off.

    Fourth, if that doesn't help anything either you can try removing your account and redownloading it.

    Fifth if none of these options help, you could try calling Xbox support and getting a professional opinion.

    That game is not available for the console. It would be downloadable either on a phone or PC.

    I'm a little confused. I know you said your account was "hacked" but is it the same account you're using now and the same account that purchased the games? If it's the same account then you can redownload it from your download history -
