Can't download Game purchased in xbox store to my Xbox 360

Make sure you are logged into Xbox Live on the Xbox 360 with the account that was used to purchase the game. Then go to settings - account - download history, scroll down to the game, and start the installation. Alo make sure you did not purchase the Xbox
One version of the game by mistake.

I purchased the classic Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb for download on my Xbox 360/One. It downloaded fine on my Xbox One. On my Xbox 360, the download stops at 80% and never finishes. I had approx. 17 GB prior to the download; I now have
15.2 GB left of the hard drive with only 80% of the game downloaded. Is anyone else getting this issue? It can't be a hard drive space issue; it must be an issue with the game data somwhow.

You can't access the Xbox 360 Games with Gold from an Xbox One console. You will need to use a computer to "download" the games to your Xbox One. You would visit the GwG page and select the Xbox 360 game you wish to download. From there, select "Download
to Xbox 360". It will add the title to your Ready to Install section of My Games and Apps.

A new feature is currently being tested by Preview members to allow for the viewing and purchase of BC titles through the Xbox One Store.

The 360 store and the One store are set up differently. Due to restrictions on child accounts for the 360 store that can't be adjusted on the One, you can't download backwards compatible games. You can get them through a 360 console.

Can i then buy the 360 disc for the game and then put it in my xbox one and it will work?

It sounds like the game may have been purchased on another account on your Xbox 360. If you look for the game in the store, does it give you the option to purchase it? If so, that would mean the game was purchased on a different account.
