Can't download game I own.

I recently had a new 360 so am downloading games from my download history.

I'm having a problem with one game I purchased years ago.

It's called Dreamfall: The longest journey

I know the game has been delisted but I was under the impression that you should still be able to download delisted games through your purchase history.

When I click it in the download history it says 'game no longer available'

As I own this game I should not be denied access to it. So if anyone from xbox support is reading this can you please restore access to this game otherwise I believe I should have a refund.

It's not a very good advertisement for digital when MS can pull access to digital games you own on a whim.

Most games when delisted can still be downloaded through your download history, but some, depending on the reason for delisting, will be completely removed; generally complete removal is communicated ahead of time, but I'm not familiar with Dreamfall.

In any case, you may be better off speaking with Phone Support to see if they can offer any other solutions, especially in terms of refunds:

Turns out the the 360 seems to have lost the ability to play most downloaded xbox originals now.

I have downloaded a few and not only do they get saved in the system files section of the HDD instead of their own folder like they used to but they do not show in My games.

It's not that I can't play xbox originals at all. The game farenhiet still works and so do my disc games.

The last 360 dashboard update must have broke something. Like to point out that I have checked a friends 360 and get the same problem on that too.

The game was removed from the Marketplace because the Publisher, Empire Interactive, went bankrupt in 2009. After that occurred, Microsoft had to remove the game as it could no longer legal sell the digital version.

A lot of games get removed for the same reason but you can still download those. Besides this doesnt explain why other xbox originals like stubbs the zombie which still download no longer work. The 360 can no longer see the games on the hard drive so they
cant be plated

Shut down the computer and unplug it if a laptop take the battery out if you can , wait a few minutes plug back in ect and start the game again should work

Hi, one way to fix it is by pressing menu button on the game > then manage game and add on> the go to updates. It should be in there. Just download it

The error code "0x803F8007" you encountering usually means you no longer own the content or no longer have permission to access the content. For example, you can’t access a game because you received a refund for it, or your game pre-order was canceled.

The solution for this error is to check your Microsoft account and see if the content was refunded, canceled or purchased.

Sign in to your account. Scroll down until you see the game or game add-on you purchased.
If the order status is Canceled or Refunded, you no longer own the game or game add-on, and you won’t be able to start or play it. You can re-purchase the content if you still want to own it.
If you don’t see the game or game add-on in your order history, search for it in Microsoft Store. If you see an option to Buy a Copy on the product description page, this means you no longer have access to the content, and you’ll need to purchase it again if you want to use it.
