Can't download full games since going Gold ?!?

First, let me apologize in advance if it turns out I'm in the wrong place for help with my particular problem. That having been said, the subject basically says it all. About a month ago I went Gold on my Xbox Live subscription. Since then I can download
updates, downloadable extras (DLCs), etc., but no full games. When I was using one of the free trials, I successfully downloaded World of Tanks, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, and Kingdom of Amalur : Reckoning to mention a few. Since going gold, I get
the same result whenever I try to download any full game: "Can't download _______". Recently an update to KOA was downloaded that caused the game to lockup my console. I deleted the game, and because I purchased the game from Marketplace I went back there
to download it again, but low and behold, I get "Can't download Kingdom of Amalur". This is what leads me to believe it has to do with my change to gold membership.

I have followed all the suggestions in the forum diligently. I've deleted the partially downloaded files (whether named or "unknown"), deleted the system cache, I even deleted the Marketplace cache, restarted the console, remade my wi-fi connection, and
got the same result: "Can't download _______". They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, hoping for a different result. I have repeated this so many times I think I may be going insane!

Due to where I live (middle of the desert, 16 miles straight out into the sand), I'm limited to a wi-fi hotspot from my cellphone. According to speedtest.net, my connection speed totally sucks! I know that! They graded me an F! Here are the stats: Ping:109ms,
Dnld: 2.51Mbps, Upld:.57Mbps, Server >50mi. My console is a 360S, 250G w/151G free. My bad connection speed does not, however, impede my ability to be killed in Destiny, Defiance, Call of Duty Ghosts, or any of my Halos that I play online! So you understand
my background, I'm a retired medical device design engineer and I used to have a side business building custom PCs and networks.

Using logic, the ONLY change that has taken place in the last month has been my subscription status from free trial to paid gold. There have been no hardware changes at all, and I'm still using the same crappy wi-fi connection that was sufficient for download
in free trial status. I beg the advice and help of anyone that has an answer!

Regarding "Max and the Curse of Brotherhood" (Install Error, Xbox Live Gold version)

You need a full gold membership.You can't download them if your just on a xbox live gold trial.

What type of subscription is it? A full gold subscription or a trial (48 hour, 7 day, or 14 day)?

Trial subscriptions will allow you to download the One games for free since they still require a gold subscription to keep playing, but you cannot download the 360 games since they do not.

However there could be two things wrong

First. The 3g connection

The issues with those is the size of the downloads are very large so inconsistent connections like 3g make it impossible to download

Full games are bigger

You don't really have much choice but to get a better connectiion

2.5mb isn't consistent that's the issue

Also does your account region reflect your actual region if not that would also. Be why as most triple atitles are region locked

 

Small downloads like trials or multiplayer games doesn't take much and doesn't require a consistent connection over a long perios
