I was able to dowonload Fable 3 too... but can't download Defense Grid (but I'm gold with a free trial...)

Anyway, in this very moment, if I click the link to "GAMES FOR GOLD" from xbox.com, I am not forwarded to Defense Grid anymore... so, I think, they're changing something.

 

If you can't download Xbox 360 games on Xbox One, here's a solution (includes new b.c G.R.I.D 2)

If you can't download G.R.I.D 2 that's a part of free games with gold May 2016, likely it's region blocked because you're not in U.S.

Here's a fix around, check the video below, I already tried this out and get grid 2 today.

First one is easy

Your account region must reflect your actual region this must be done on this website under my account and change my region

If it's the 2nd one you must have a payment option on file as per the requirements of xbox 360 live for Web purchases and xbox one doesn't count as a xbox 360 only using the webportal to do so

If it's third well you have to be 18 in order to download certain content and no xbox one parental permissions dont apply

Either use a xbox 360 with parental permissions or have an parental account with gold make the purchase

 

If you don't live in an xbox live region you will continue to have issues

I get that message that iam unable to process with the purchase at the moment and i can try again later

 

I`m in the same problem i start the game download from laptop or from xbox and it goes to 79% and stops with this message `Can`t download game ` or something like that . I tried for about 4-5 times and everythime is the same problem. I out of ideas how to

hey I'm having the same issues as well with downloading from xbox 360 or through the website, after about 79% the download will stop and when i go to storage the game file will be listed as corrupted and not playable. Any help here will be appreciated

I had no problems to purchase Borderlands last month. I was still here but my xbox one "Region" has always been Italy.

 

I'm having the same problem it can not be recall from the beginning, I did not change anything, before it worked without problems

 

@hardvibes2 - Many games on the 360 were region locked. So if your account region doesn't match your physical location, you will run into issues downloading some of the games. Also, since China was not a supported region for a long time, there may be many
games that were not made available there which is the case with Grid 2. It is not available for download in China which is why you're running into issues downloading it.
