Can't download Free Games with backward compatibility

Hello

if the games are on xbox 360 market and not on Xbox one, I am unable to get them as free deal via Xbox Live account status. This problem occurred in August and still makes me sick as it still remains.

I own xbox One console and have adult account. There are no family members or any restrictions on account. Although I can buy other games with no prob. I tried to purchase Free games from console and PC but error is the same.

When backward compatibility launches in November, all future Xbox 360 Games with Gold titles will be playable on Xbox One. That means Xbox Live Gold members now will get more free games to play each month on Xbox One.

To download Xbox 360 backward compatibility games for Xbox One you need a valid method of payment attached to your account, even if the game is free. In cases of free games with gold a purchase of 0.00$ will be registered.

Sorry to hear about the issue. Do you experience this trying to download Xbox 360 games or Xbox One games? If it's Xbox 360 games, make sure you have a payment method listed on your
Microsoft Commerce account and an updated billing address. If this happens for all games, that's something that can happen if there is a region mismatch on your account. If your Xbox Live account
region does not match your current physical location, you will want to
migrate your account to match your location.

you were right Miss Bijoux, the product I was about to purchase is region locked in my country and migrating account blocked me from getting it for free for that reason.
