    Can't Download Forza Horizon 3 on PC


    I'm having a domino of problems installing this game on my computer. After an hour of figuring out how to download the game on my windows 10, xbox app seems to be eating my RAM when I try to download a game. Once I start downloading my RAM usage very gradually
    starts building up. Eventually about an hour or two later I hit 40-50% download, my RAM usage hits 100% and my computer starts lagging super hard until eventually I get the blue screen with frowny face. Then after I restart my computer it makes me start my
    download again from scratch, but I've lost 30gb of space somewhere. I could not find where the previous downloaded files went. There are no files in the name of "Microsoft" "xbox" or "forza" that is taking up 30+ gb but those files are somewhere and I can't
    find it. And now I don't have enough storage to even download the game. (I have 16 GB of RAM)

    TLCan't Download Forza Horizon 3 on PC :DR Here are the list of problems:

    1. Downloading game from xbox windows 10 seems to start eating RAM. An hour or two into the download RAM usage gets to 100%, computer starts lagging super hard, then blue screen of death.

    2. After restarting the computer, the download starts from scratch, but the previous download files are taking up space somewhere on the computer. After attempting to download the game twice my computer no longer has enough storage to attempt download again.

    Solutions attempted:

    1. Virus, malware checks

    2. Checking task manager for exact RAM usage. It does not tell me where the RAM is being used... it says 70% etc~ but no application running are using more than 50mb. My computer currently has 16 GB of RAM.

    3. Close all application except xbox windows 10.

    4. Searching for the downloaded files: searched "micosoft" "xbox" "forza" but could not find where the 30gb of downloaded files went.

    5. Attempted download 2 times and both crashed within 2 hours of downloading.

    6. I have downloaded and play big file games like WoW, GTAv but never had problems installing or RAM usage.

    I bought Forza Horizon 3 on the pc last week, downloaded it to my xbox, and have been playing it since then. When I logged into my computer though, I was unable to download it, and it did not show up in my payment history. How do I download/find Forza Horizon

    Forza Horizon 3 Disappeared from library

    I finally got Forza Horizon 3 downloading on my PC, but I had to reinstall Windows to get it to download.

    If you can't see an install link under Forza Horizon 3, when you click to it through the Ultimate Bundle, then your install of Windows 10 might be "broken". Performing a reset might help resolve the issue, but it is time consuming, and will require the reinstall
    of some of your programs (the Windows 10 apps, however, 'should' be reinstalled)

    If you visit the Windows Store on your PC, are you able to download Forza Horizon 3 from there without any issues?

    Cant join clubs or make them on pc.

    You don't need Gold for a Forza Horizon 4 Club. I was able to join a Forza Horizon 3 club aswell on pc. And on PC Gold doesn't exist

    1. Downloaded all of them from the store as you instructed, speed was fine.

    2. These are my app versions

    2211.1001.24.0

    8.71.12001.0 (Servizi giochi) (translates to Game Services)

    5.822.10271.0 (Xbox Game Bar)

    3. Done, title of the feedback is "[Xbox Forum] Slow download speed Forza Horizon 5 on PC"

    I will be removing the few downloaded GBs of Forza Horizon 5 from my PC as the game is unplayable since I still can't finish the download.

    Unfortunately my interest dropped and I will no longer be downloading the game.

    Hope that this thread and any potential solution after my feedback could help the community.
