Can't download fallout 3

Hi folks,

I just got my copy of fallout4 and as usual i have my fallout3 code to redeem. I tried but i got this error back: 0x80153016.

can't just understand what's the problem with my code..

Odd Issue With Downloading Previously Purchased Games

The only thing that shows up is a small notification that says Fallout 3 Can't download

My account is set to california

 

just upgraded to win10, same problem.

Are you trying to redeem the code via the Xbox One, 360 or through the web site. If the One it wont work as it a code for the 360. If through a 360 then please check out

support.xbox.com/.../error-code-lookup and enter 0x80153016 and see if that resolves your problem.

Umh.. I tried both on Xbox one and pc.. They said that this fallout 3 offer was something special for Xbox one users.. So what.. It won't just work on my one?

[SOLVED] here the solution to the 0x80153016 error.

basically the 0x80153016 error means that microsoft wants you to change or set the correct region location of your account. you can easily change it here:
live.xbox.com/AccountMigration

after changing the region location i downloaded my fallout3 copy directly on my XBOX ONE. so i can confirm you do NOT NEED an xbox 360 to get your free fallout3 copy on your ONE.
