'Can't download' error

Over the past few week my xbox is becoming unreliable trying to download stuff.

It's happened quite a few time where the thing i'm trying to download wont go past 1% before I get a can't download error.

I can often fix it by clearing the cache, deleting the partial download then trying again. But this doesn't always work.

It's really starting to annoy me now especially as I don't know whether the problem is xbox live, my console or my hard drive.

Another thing is I've noticed that xbox originals games like farenheit are listed in the system items category instead of games. This makes me wonder if I could have a problem with my hard drive that could be stopping games from downloading.

Currently I am finding it impossible to download an app called viewster and I've done the usual, clear cache, clear marketplace data, delete partial download and switch off and on but nothing is working this time.

Does anyone know if there is a problem with xbox live right now that could be causing this. Anyone else finding it impossible to download this viewster?

Netflix wont work

I can't download netflix.. No error code pops up just when I go to download it says can't download netflix

Managed to get it working now.

Basically I removed the HDD then tried downloading the file to a USB stick and it worked.

So I then put the hard drive back in and tried downloading again and it worked again.

It's either coincidence or my hard drive wasn't seated properly. I'll just have to see how it goes.

 

My HD is not removable.

Both my son and I are getting a message "Rock Band 3 Can not be downloaded"

I think this is the first time I have had an issue downloading anything.

Although, when I went into Clear Space it had another game with an Orange Exclamation.

I guess I could clear cache, etc. But just a reboot did not work.
