First rule of thumb look at the listing it doesn't mention us or turkey play Asia only lists NTSC or pal which is not how region locks works

 

That could be right but the problem is THIS GAME IS NOT LISTED IN MY HOME REGION. AND I COULD NOT FIND THE DISC COPY OF THE GAME IN STORES.

So my money is gone away and I cannot play the game at all...

What a nice new year present... :/

If the game isn't available digitally then that should be your first clue that its region locked

You are talking about a discontinued game that would be why its not available on your actual region

The publiaher no longer makes it so it is unlikely going to be provided in other regions

Surprise...

2 days ago tried to download COD2 again over Xbox web page. When I got home, surprise!, COD2 was on My Games list. Works like charm. Now I can celebrate 10th anniversary of COD2 on my 360.

I don't know how it installed but in the end, I finally have it.
