Can't download digital game

So I bought the ultimate edition of gotta horizon 3 on Sunday. I bought it thought the Xbox app with a prepaid Xbox card if that makes a difference. I started the download once I got home and it freezes at 6%. I've cleared the cache, restarted the Xbox
and quit the installation and restarted it completely and it refuses to pass the 6% mark. Any help would very very much appreciated!

Can't download digital games anymore

I can't download any digital games or updates anymore after the latest system update. Every download ends in "installation stopped" immediately after hitting download. I've cleared local save data, reset the console, unplugged it, I have plenty of storage
left. It only started after this newest update.

Have you tried a
Factory Restore on your Xbox One console? If you haven't tried that, go ahead and follow those steps and be sure to select
Reset and keep my games & apps.

Sorry to hear you're having download troubles. To check, what type of storage device are you using?

 

I use a Seagate external 2 gig hard drive to download all of my games on

 

2 terabyte hard drive* my fault

Apologies for the delay in response. If you're still having download troubles, please try removing your storage device and install the game using the Xbox One console's internal storage to see if there's any change. Keep us updated with how it goes
