Can't download demo because of age.

I can't download an M-rated game because xbox keeps claiming my account can't download anything like that. But I have been able to before, so why is it doing it now and how do I fix it? I have checked family settings, and they are off. I own M-rated games
and they play fine, even the downloaded ones, so why can't I download an M-rated demo?

Well the account was set to age 18 the first time I created my account. Why does it still do that? I mean I have battlefield 3. I can download the DLC from that game, Black Ops as well. Only certain things I can't. Syndicate I couldn't download the demo,
Medal of Honor Warfighter Beta I can't download, Left 4 Dead 2 DLC I can't download. I don't understand why some things I can and some things I can't. Maybe because the rating is UR or RP?

Age Problem

i tried downloading a demo and it restricts me because of age. is there anyway to be able to download if i talk to a representative about it with parents consent?

Demos and trailers are treated more like advertisements so they cannot be downloaded on any account under the game of 18. Purchases can be approved by a parental account, but not demos.

You can't download M rate demos or free trailers if your account is under 18.

I am having the exact same problem, previously I wasn't even able to download certain demos or videos because of the supposed "age restriction."

Hello,

You will not be able to download this demo regardless of what account settings are set to allow because you have an account that is under the age of 18. Specifically for game demo's you cannot play them if they are M (Mature) or RP (Rating Pending) as they
are set to different status's.

There are only only two ways you will be able to play this demo. One is to create a new Xbox LIVE account with the age of 18+, and two is if there is an account that is already over the age if 18 on the Xbox 360 that has a Gold membership that can download
it for you. The demo should be accessible on all other accounts on the Xbox 360 after it's been downloaded by the 18+ account.

Sorry, there's no other ways besides that.
