Can't download Borderlands 2 for free, wants me to pay (using Xbox 1)

I have been waiting to use my free 14 day Gold trial until there was a game I really wanted, and today I wanted to get Borderlands 2. I went to download it but it wants me to pay for it, even though it doesn't expire until tomorrow. The other 2 games listed
beside it have their price lined out and say free with gold, yet not for Borderlands 2. Really frustrating. And trying to get an email to contact them is the stupidest, most non-user friendly process I've ever been through. Any tips?

Borderlands 2 DLC Dragon Keep not working

I have the season pass for Borderlands 2 and I have been able to download all of the DLC except for the latest one Dragon Keep. I can't get to the download screen where it shows it is for free, it is trying to make me pay for it, and the few times I am able
to make it to the free screen it stop in the middle of downloading and say you can't download this. Also the when downloading it will be at say 34% and will jump down to 7% or 0%. I this has happened 3 times in a row!!!! So I want a soulution or a free code
for this DLC sent to my email at [MOD REMOVED]

Buying late season pass

If I buy a season pass late will I be able to download the already released content for 'free'? For example: If I pay x amount of ms points to get the Borderlands 2 season pass, will I be able to download Mr.Torgues dlc without any added costs given i
download it from the Borderlands menu?

Trials don't change your account status to gold. You would need a full gold subscription in order to download the 360 games for free. The One games will allow you to download them with a trial but you do need to keep gold in order to play them.

Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel were only available to try for a free weekend on the 27-30 of october. After that you have to pay for them.

Ok, thanks, much appreciated. I already beat Borderlands 2 on PC, so no biggy, but I was wanting to check pre-sequel out. Thanks again!

Same problem here... I was able to download Far Cry 3 and Borderlands 2 but I can't download Assassin's Creed 3, Mass Effect...trying to pay with MS points

Check in the store as I believe they were free to download recently for Borderlands and Borderlands 2

The dlc was only free before the release of borderlands 3. Now if you want to download the dlc, you have to pay for it. I guess 2k games never updated the in game downloadable content section. Thats why in the game's menu it still says the dlc is free.
