Can't download Battlestations Pacific from games with gold, Please help me.

I try to download games with gold for this month on Xbox 360. ( Battlestations Pacific) The system always show error 80150017 sorry, something went wrong. This isn't available for your region. Last month I can download games with gold. (Metro Last
Light) Is it region locked in some digital game? My Xbox live account is set to Hong Kong because my country not support Xbox live. What Should I do? or wait for some games with gold that no region locked. Please help me.

Im trying to download Battlestation Pacific, for some reason it keeps giving me an error stating not support in my Region. Its funny because i'm from the Pacific and i cant download this game lmao But yea, how could i fix this?

I am having the same issue, with the same error code, whilst trying to purchase Battlestations Pacific. It's very frustrating. Why is it that so many of the Games With Gold games are region locked on the marketplace? A lot of people are complaining and it
still continues. We are just left to wait until the next game comes around and hope that this one isn't region locked. What else can we do? Support doesn't help.

 

@bossnarak - Yes, that error code means the game is region locked.

@Gillion666 - There's no way around region locking. That's actually done by the developers, not Microsoft.

 

Sometimes. I know like E.A. region locks games they publish, but I believe stuff like this is region locked on the marketplace. I remember back when Games With Gold had just started, some games were being added that were region locked at first and then the
lock was taken off temporarily. Crackdown was one of them I think. Why doesn't it happen anymore? Also, with the developers region locking, psn marketplaces have the same games and dlcs without the locks. That leads me to believe it's Microsoft doing it. I'm
sorry if I'm wrong or sound like I'm ranting. I'm just frustrated with this happening over and over again.

Region locked for Xbox 360 is locked from the account or locked from the console system?

If Microsoft locked from account, I can migrate account. If Microsoft locked from console system that I use (NTSC-J)

I will wait for the next free game with no region protection.

 

Crysis 3 is a region locked game according to the listing that I use, so tough luck for us. Even so, if you were to look up the region compatibility of Battlestations Pacific, you'll see that the game is region free. Only the Japanese versions are locked
to those consoles. Now, even though the English versions of the game are region free, it is still apparently locked on the marketplace. I guess it's something we just have to deal with. I don't think migrating your account would do you any good. There is no
console lock for this one, just a marketplace annoyance.

 

I can't get the game as well. It would say "Sorry, Your purchase cannot be completed at this time. Please try again." It has been like this since 9/1/2015. I can get other stuff, not only this free game of this month.

Any ideas?

 

Being region free disc doesnt affect the marketplace availablity as rrgion freee just refers to rhe type of consolei t can be played on not whaf it can be purchased on
