    when I try to download Xbox 360 games on my Xbox one through backward compatibility it says my account is not able to make this purchase from xbox.com please make this from your console. this is quite annoying as I'm on my console and I'm missing
    games for gold constantly and I really want them. Please help.

    Can't buy backwards compatible games on marketplace?

    It's not gears 3, (for as far as i know gears 3 is not backwards compatible)

    I can't download any backwards compatible game.

    Is there another way then to log in on a xbox 360 console? like if i buy a physical disc of a backwards compatible game, would it work then? and would i be able to download 360 games after that.

    If you're on a child account, you would need to make the purchase through a 360 console. Otherwise, make sure you have a credit card or PayPal on file in order to make the purchase.

    Hi,

    I'm afraid Pinball FX2 is not backwards compatible. You can't download this game on to your Xbox One.

    Hi,

    As some additional information. to the answer already specified.

    The backward compatible game while it is the same game the download is basically different version of the game, being the backward compatible version of the game. This is also the reason why inserting a backward compatible game via disc will result in the
    backward compatible version being downloaded (disk is still required to start the game)

    So in order for you to download that backward compatible version you will have to login to the Xbox Live Account that is used on the 360, which allows you to download backward compatible games that you own.

    That game is not currently backwards compatible so it can't be played on the One. You can find a list of backwards compatible games here

    It is backwards compatible, but I tried both disc's 1 and 2 and in both cases it shows that they are 360 games that can't download, I have internet.
