"Can't download" Assassins Creed IV

Hi, the Assassins Creed IV (Black Flag) is available for free download for Gold members, but I cannot download the game.

I have enough disk space and it also downloaded up to 24% at some point, but whenever I restart the download it doesn't work. There is a "Can't download" popup an the download disappears from the active downloads menu.

Is there a fix to this?

Please don't let Assassin's Creed IV's tutorial take up half the game

Assassins Creed III is that bad I'm kinda feeling like this towards IV, I haven't even finished 3, got to sequence 7 and just threw the towel in.

I have had my download running for a hour now and it has only hit 1%.

I would try again tomorrow when less people are trying to download it at the same time, that`s what i am going to do.

 

Hi SWISS KNIFE 93, you just have to keep trying. I have had similar issues with other games. Eventually you will get it. The fact you have started the download means it's now in your download history and can download it at anytime without charge.

 

I had the same problem. I deleted the unfinished download in "systemsettings > memory > Hard drive > Games. After that it worked.

 

I, too, had this problem, which I believe is a combination of multiple online users downloading, the strength of my own connection, and my hard drive's capacity. I cleared the Hard Drive of the previously unfinished download, made sure that no one else
was using up any bandwidth of our broadband, and then started it before I went to bed. When I got up this morning, all was installed and ready to go.

 

I have done all of above still won't download

 

Thank you, it worked the next day. I didn't have to delete or clear anything, it was probably just too many people downloading, since it's a great game.
