    Can't download any games with gold or deals with gold games


    whenever I try to download one of the games/deals with gold games I get an error message saying the game cannot be downloaded, it usually will get to 30% and then show the error message '(game title) can't be downloaded'. I'm not trying to download old
    games again these are new games I've never owned, also I can download game demos from the marketplace. For information I have the Xbox 360 elite console and I'm in the UK, I've checked the regions on the account and my location are the same, cleared the cache
    etc etc. Any ideas?

    Were you trying to download games for gold ? if so you can't download games for gold with Trial passes. The trails only allow you to play online and does not let you take advantage of games for gold or deals for gold. Can you still play online?

    Thanks, it shows my card now. I still can't download x360 games with gold, but I think this deal is with me being still on trial gold.

    You have to have a gold membership to download free games and qualify for the deals of the week for gold. Trials will not allow you access to these deals. If you have gold, try purchasing it off the xbox.com. It is showing free for gold members.

    Deals with Gold is different from Games with Gold so you get to keep any games you buy with deals even if you go to a silver account

    Think of it as a sale for gold members.
