Can't download a game off dash that previously brought

Hi my partner is trying to download the witcher 2 but it is saying he has to pay for it. He has previously brought the game and it even shows in his paypal account that he has so why can't he download it again?

Dash of Destruction has been delisted and is no longer available for download on the Marketplace.

You can only download it now if you'd gotten it previously.

They also had that Dinosaur game as well....It was called Dash of Destruction. You can't download it anymore though.

 

Try checking the download history. He should be able to redownload it from there.

 

That's the problem tho its not there. He only uses his paypal for the xbox account he uses.

 

I am , an XBOX Live Ambassador.

Purchasing a game with money on the Account, PayPal or a Credit Card should all count as purchases and therefore should be available in their Purchase History.

From the Dashboard, Press the XBOX Guide Button and Scroll over to the Settings Tab. Select Account Management. Select Download History. Once loaded, the Download history should show anything that has ever been purchased for the signed in account (including
things which are no longer available on the Marketplace.)

The only other thing I can possibly think of is that they have replaced an XBOX 360 System since they purchased the game, at which point they would need to transfer the licenses. That option is directly below the Download History option (see instructions
on how to arrive there above).

If this still does not help, please let us know and we will try to figure out another possible solution.

If its not in his download history, then he must have used another account to download it. Everything, ever purchased, will be in the download history for that account. I suggest he consider if he ever used another account on the console and check that one
if he has.

 

We tried licence transfer didn't help.

Can't find it in download history.

Has 2 accounts but only one has his paypal details (his main account)

We have checked both accounts but not one either.

His paypal has the game in his past transactions.

 

If he bought it, it will be in that account's Purchase History.

You might want to look from the PC in case it's easier to spot the game --
live.xbox.com/.../history

From this list, it is possible to re-download any game ever bought.

However, to check his transaction history, log in at
https://commerce.microsoft.com. If it was purchased with PayPal, the transaction will show up there for the purchasing account.

I'm having this issue with the Witcher 2 as well; I transferred regions and this seems to be the only game I can't re-acquire. It's in my download history but I get error code 800700E8 and on the website it tells me it's not available for this region (I
transferred from UK to US as I've recently emigrated!)

I've tried a license transfer as well but that hasn't resolved anything. Any ideas? I've also re-downloaded my profile, so that hasn't solved it.
