Can’t download 360 profile

For whatever reason as of yesterday I cannot play any of my 360 backwards compatible games. Upon trying to fix an issue where it would not let me connect to Xbox live my profile was removed from my series X and I am now no longer able to download my profile at all as the connection issue has not resolved. I’ve tried restarting the console, changing Wi-Fi to wired, adjusting MTU, uninstalling and reinstalling, as well as other previous remedies for the problem. Even a soft factory reset with no results. Any ideas to attempt to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

If that's the case, please try turning off recurring billing temporarily and give it a new try.

If that doesn't work, please double check if you have app passwords enabled. If that's the case, create a new one and give it a new try

Recently, many players have been experiencing issues with Xbox Live on Xbox 360 consoles and with backward-compatible Xbox 360 games on Xbox One/Series due to a problem with Xbox servers. Yesterday, they officially announced the issue and stated that it had been resolved. However, I have noticed that many players are still encountering problems. Therefore, it is possible that this is related to the general outage and not to your console, profile or internet connection.

I recommend waiting for a while to see if Xbox makes any announcements regarding this problem so they can resolve it. As I mentioned earlier, many players are still having trouble connecting to Xbox Live on Xbox 360, and it's likely a server issue once again.

Likewise, you could also help by reporting the issue through the following website:

https://support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status

On the right side of the website, under "Report a service outage," click on "Report" and fill out the requested information. This way, Xbox can become aware more quickly that there are still ongoing issues.
