Can't download xbox 360 profile on xbox one

Whenever I try to play my xbox 360 games on my xbox one I get an error stating that it can't connect to xbox live even though I am connected to xbox live and am connected to my router using an Ethernet cord. I've tried both Ethernet and wireless connections
with neither of them working. I am hoping that someone has come across this issue and can help out. I'm not apart of the preview program or anything like that and I've contacted xbox support twice now.

Can't download profile on 360, Profile works on Xbox One

I am trying to play a backwards compatible game on my Xbox 360. When I try to download my profile I get a message saying the password is incorrect. There is no error code (just a message that pops up). I have reset my password using 2 step verification and
have full access to my profile on the Xbox One but still cannot access it on the backward compatible game/Xbox 360 side of things. I talked with an ambassador online, but the best they could do was to recommend calling the support line in the morning. Hopefully
they will be able to resolve the issue.

If you can give some more information that'll help get you the proper assistance. Do you get an error code/error message when you try signing in?

My Xbox one profil has a password that is more than the 16 caracter use on xbox 360 so I cannot use this profile

Just go to download profile on your 360 or One but I think there is an issue with Xbox live right now because when I tried downloading mine on the 360, I get an error message saying Xbox Live profiles can't be downloaded right now even though the Xbox Live
service status says everything is up and running.

Think of those Data001 files as virtual discs, it is into them the 360 saves its files. Your profile is in one of those files.

If it can't be read on the 360 any longer then you are going to need to recover your profile from Live

Unfortunately, no, you can't transfer add-on content between profiles.

The best you can do is one of the following -

- Make sure your profile is signed into Xbox Live whenever your son wants to use the add-on content

- Download you profile to your son's Xbox 360 and and do a license transfer

It can't be used on an Xbox one console, but if you have access to a 360 console, I believe you could download your profile and purchase it that way
