Hi, thanks for the reply. I have the 1 month trial (with credit card), and it let me download the two Xbox one games. It's just the Xbox 360 one I can't download.

Also, the Games With Gold FAQ (support.xbox.com/.../games-with-gold-faq) specifically says the Gold membership trials with credit card are elligible.
I did input my credit card info.

It's been a while since I've started the game on the One so I can't remember about the tutorial. It would be in the menu of the game I believe when you start a new one.

Gold is connected to your account not the console. So if you have gold on your account it'll work for both the 360 and One. To get the 360 games with gold you have to be on an adult account and you have have a credit card or Paypal on file to make the purchase
(even though it's free).

You would need a credit card/Paypal on file in order to download the 360 games with gold games, even though they're free. The 360 store is set up differently from the store on the One. The One does not see your Microsoft account balance as a valid payment
option for 360 content.

To download 360 games on Xbox One, you need a valid payment method (credit/debit card, PayPal etc) even to download free games with gold. If you do not have a payment method, your only other option is to use an Xbox 360.

can I download the free games of games with gold if I use a 1 month prepaid code? or does it works only if I buy gold with a credit card

I wouldn't like to waste my 1 month code if I cant download them
