    Can't do anything


    So the problem I am having is my One cannot play any multiplayer games as well as not being able to join parties or invite friends to parties. I have gone into my network settings and it tells me I have a strict NAT and the detailed NAT info says that my
    "network is behind a port-symmetric NAT."

    Can someone please describe to me what I am reading and what I can do to make it an open NAT? Everything works just fine on my 360, and these problems started two days ago.

    thanks mister for the response but that did not resolve the issue. I can't go into my settings. It kicked me back to my main screen. When I got to the setting tab after hitting the Xbox button on my control it says "connect to xboxlive" after restart console

    Hey there CZRose77!

    Sorry to hear about the NAT issue! Before we can explain why these NAT issues are occurring, could you post back with the brand and model numbers of both your router and modem? That will help us narrow down the NAT issue! Can't do anything :)

    The router is a Dlink dir-820L, and as for the modem, i'm not quite sure. We are connected to my apartment complex's internet so I would have to get the info from the front office sometime tomorrow. The run with Cox internet provider if that's any consolation.

    The issue may be that you are using you're own router with your apartment complex's internet. Essentially, you are probably plugging a router into another router or gateway. I suggest trying to wire the Xbox One console directly into the wall via ethernet
    where the router is plugged in to see if the error persists.

    If the error continues after plugging the Xbox One directly into where your router is plugged in, I recommend contacting your apartment complex's IT to see what they can try.

    Hey LuckyEvan! You should be able to restart with a 10 second press of the power button to turn the console off and another press to power it back on. Additionally, can you post some screenshots of what you're seeing when you try to access settings? Thanks!

    For any strange problems with the Xbox, it's always recommended to first perform a proper
    power cycle on the console.
