dashboard wont load

My Xbox 360 slim wont load the dashboard. I update some games today and then put in lego lord of the ring and it told me the game was unreadable but I was playing it an hour before I connected to live so I turned it off took it off line and now my controllers
wont sync or even connect to my xbox and it wont load to the dashboard so I cant do anything I have no controllers connecting game wont work all I can see is the xbox logo what can I do please help do I need to connect it back to live or what

MAC address issue or glitch??

I cant seem to connect to the wifi I'm using (not mine) and its the same thing every time this is the third time this has happened and last few times it solved itself with the same problem saying something about my MAC address I cant connect to anything.
When I try to connect to the wifi it wont ask for the password like it usually does and go straight to checking connection. Plus cant seem to do anything I cant connected to a different network it wont give me the option to...need help???

I reset the console. The very first thing it needs me to do is connect to a network. As I said, I cannot connect to Wi-Fi. So now its stuck here. Cant go to the home screen, cant play disks, cant do anything without a network connection and this console wont connect wirelessly.
