Can't do anything until restart

My advice would be to reset the console. Kindly follow the steps mentioned below to perform a physical reset since you can't access the setting using the controller:

Doesnt reboot, restarting didnt do anything, left everything unplugged until just now, no luck

try restarting your xbox?, reconnecting the xbox app?, maybe restarting your phone too? also hold the xbox button on the xbox until it shuts off, doing a good restart, you will NOT lose anything if you do this so dont be scared to restart.
