    Hello gaming community,

    When I power on my Xb1, everything comes up as far as the dashboard but when I go to sign in, the screen dims as it normally would when you go to sign in, but nothing comes up, no profile to sign in on, no words, nothing. Just a dim screen. And when I try
    to start up an app like settings or internet explorer or anything it just sits at the app's louadup screen. Also, when I try to put a movie in my xbox, the system doesn't even recognize anything I put in.

    If someone has gone through this issue, please help.

    My XB1 is a brick. Cant sign in AT ALL! Can't sign in locally. Can't do anything with it. Buyers remorse does not even begin to define my feelings about this. Highly disappointed.

    Can't buy/download anything from xbox one marketplace?

    Fixed my xb:1 'can't buy anything' issue: Sign out from your profile, remove your profile from your XB1, add your profile to your XB1. Shutdown XB1, router, cable box. Wait 1 minute. Turn on cable box and wait one minute. Turn on router and wait one minute.
    Turn on XB1 and wait two minutes. Buy something.

    Hey thanks for the reply. Well my error says can't connect to Xbox live right now, even though I'm already signed into Xbox live on my xb1... What to do?? I've seen it posted on many forums so I know I'm not alone. I'll try your link anyway!

    I just go my XB1 last night and was able to download and install the first update but after the XB restated once again it said "It's time to update" and now that's when the XBL issues happened. I can't do anything but look at that error screen. I haven't
    even been able to sign in or play any games because I can't get passed that "You need this update to use your console message". For now its just a $350 paper weight while I download this massive manual update that still has 9 hours to go

    Thanks for the help. Is there even a media center type app for XB1 yet? I can't find anything that is comparable to the Media function that you could get to on the 360 by hitting the guide button.
