Can’t do an offline reset Xbox One S

Hello everybody, first at all, sorry for my english.

Yesterday, i try to turn on my xbox, but when i did this, it doesnt work. Instead of appear the green xbox logo the only that happen was a black screen, and this was all that happen, no matter how many time i wait.

Like 3 days ago i was having trouble with xbox live, a normal day i try to start Dark Souls 3, but it didnt open, other games was working fine. In summary, i had to delete the saved file, unninstall the game and install it again.

Coming back to the problem i made a hard reset, pushing the power button for ten seconds, also disconnecting the xbox of the power supply for 5 minutes, trying to inciate the xbox withouth internet, but nothing work.

Even i inciate the xbox in the troubleshoot screen, pushing eject button, power button, and the button for the wirless connection and waiting for the two sounds of the xbox one when it starts. I try to do a factory reset online but when i try this nothing
happen, only the black mirror screen, one time it took me to the preparing console message but after that it send me the message error e102.

When i try to do a offline reset with an USB, it shows the preparing console message but get stuck in 0%, and after a time the console turn itself off.

I need help, im very scared of what could happen, my console have not warranty anymore.

Thank you for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with your Xbox One S not starting properly and when the offline system update is attempted the issue persists. You may want to try a different USB drive and plugging in the USB drive to

I am using the Xbox one s and the code was E102 and I just tried doing the reset console on the troubleshoot page and I do not have any external storage. I also tried doing the offline update but I can’t get the files I need because of a write protection or something.

I have done each of those steps several times. One month after the warranty ended this happened. Am I hearing that since I can’t do the offline update and I can’t even factory reset my Xbox I have to pay $250 to get it factory reset?

It is a one s I’ll try to do a factory reset very soon thanks for the help but it can’t get to the troubleshooting menu though

I don’t know if I kept my games or not. I had to do the hard reset offline because I wasn’t connect to internet and it said something about it will still remove the contents from of this Xbox or something like that. once it reset though I selected language but I’m stuck on the connection part, I can’t get past it since I can’t connect to the internet.
